A former power-restauranteur (Vandam in SoHo) and renowned patron of the arts, New York fixture Allison Sarofim is taking the movie world by storm with her blossoming career as an actress. After extensive training, Allison made her feature debut in Disney’s worldwide blockbuster ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)’. She was featured prominently in the final battle as a Dryad, and in the coronation sequence as a Centaur. She will presently be featured in The Nanny Diaries the movie version of the best-selling book starring Scarlett Johansson for the Weinstein Company. Next, she’s starring alongside Oscar-winner Sissy Spacek, Troy Garity , and Oscar-winner ‘Tatum O’Neal (I)’ in the searing southern drama Lake City. She will also reappear in ‘Prince Caspian’, the greatly anticipated sequel to ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.’

Allison has been featured in Vogue, Town & Country, The New York Times, and Financial Times. The NY Sunday Times did a five-page feature on Ms. Sarofim, and Paper Magazine listed her as one of their 50 Most Beautiful People. She is also a contributing editor for Domino Magazine.

Native of Houston, Texas who is the daughter of Houston philanthropist extraordinaire Louisa Stude Sarofim (heiress to Brown&Root fortune) and Egyptian investment whiz Fayez Sarofim. Fayez is the founder of “Fayez Sarofim & Co” an investment & financial Management firm. Her brother Christopher Sarofim is married to Courtney Lanier, daughter of Former Houston Mayor Bob & Elyse Lanier. Allison has 3 other half-brothers through her father’s second marriage to the late Linda Hicks Sarofim.
