Biography:
Tando always had a strong interest in fashion and as a young boy he hand sewed his own football shorts. Tido was one of five students chosen from WSU to participate in a project organised by the Department of Arts and Culture and Sanlam SA Fashion Week to create clothing and beadwork. He was also a facilitator in the Department of Labour’s Sibanye project where he taught elderly people to sew in the rural districts of Macleantown and Chalumna. Tido currently works for Da Gama Textiles as their fashion designer.
