Soda is Sanlam SA Fashion Week (SSAFW)’s in-house range of garments and accessories developed in partnership with the SSAFW/DAC Fashion Fusion crafter network across the country. As such, Anna-Mari works with crafters from across the country on an on-going basis to create a range that encapsulates a true South African design aesthetic.

Summer 09/10
Inspired by the naïve and understated clothing of the Amish and traditional rural Jewish communities, this range expresses a gentle innocence and purity in prints as well as the crafting detail by crafters from Kwazulu-Natal such as embroidery, introduced on the fabric.
This almost childlike sensibility is mirrored in the choice of fabrics and colour too featuring combinations that include naturals like silk, cotton and linen and tactile variations such as an interplay of texture, sheer, soft and crisp.
