Brief Biography:
Reginald Molamu grew up in Limpopo. He discovered his passion for fashion whilst studying interior design at the former Wits Technikon (now University of Johannesburg). Following a period of styling and designing for various celebrities and television series such as Muvhango and Seskhona, he launched the RjKay label with business partner, Paledi Segapo in 2007.
RjKay clients includes performer Kelly Khumalo, KB, Metro FM Best Styled Artist 2008, singer Tembi Seete, actress Khabonina Qhobeka as well as Channel O presenter, Rachel Stuart and ETV presenter Babalwa Rasane. RjKay has also produced garments for events such as L’Oreal SoftSheen Carson’s annual Golden Scissors Awards.
Inspiration:
Nature, music, South Africa’s heritage, landscape, the people and their diversity. Finding the intersection where Afro Eurocentric design meets. The beaders of the Johannesburg Mai-Mai market.

Hi Guys
I must say im really impressed with you with and your energy. I really think that SA deserves new/fresh ideas – which guys have proven yourselves to be the answer to. Nothing inspires me more than young hustlers. Keep it up guys. Really hope that i can also get to wear your clothes some day.Much Love!!!
