Dear Deola, (as if you would read this, who knows, right?)
U really are the African Designer’s dream.
I am a fashion designer (amateur though) and the thing i love about you is just this: each time i view your collections, I see ME in them. I see designs that i’ve dreamt about putting on paper or that i’ve actually made.
There’s just this rightness when i look at your stuff. Your creations are always agreeable to me. It’s scary and exciting and intriguing all at once. Perhaps you’re my muse?
OK before you freak out…
Keep doing Nigeria and Africa proud. Our very own Prada!

I’ve always been a fan of Deola Sagoe. I love the standard she’s set in the industry. She’s helped put Africa on the global map.
Eachtime i drive pass her ELIZADE house along Ikorodu road i always admire what I see. i’ve been to her showroom at Ajose Adeogun and was bown away with what I saw. I woukd want to work with her on a project.
Deola, if you are reading this, I’d like you to go through my blog and visit my fashion art post titled SELENSE at http://ibeananabart.blogspot.com . For those who don’t understand, SELENSE is a slang in Nigeria that means “show-off” or “flaunting”. This is my ongoing project celebrating today’s contemporary chic.
Happy viewing and pls keep doing what you love doing- inspiring us!
