Arriving Lagos, and afraid of what would happen next; I immediately called on one of my mentors who happens to be the Editor of Genevieve Magazine just to let her know am in town, and little did I know, there was a spot at Genevieve waiting-just-for-me… or so I thought!

I literally started the Monday after i arrived on saturday and was assigned ‘Style correspondent’ at Genevieve. Being a Style Correspondent meant I had to attend EVERY event after the next; not like am complaining!

I was quite fortunate to attend some really fabulous events. The 1st invite I got at my stay at Genevieve was from the design label; Jewel By Lisa - a really chic indie label in Lagos, Nigeria that is known for infusing authentic african fabrics with beads intertwined in them. Very gorgeous pieces; That’s me and my fabulous Fashion Editor at Genevieve Magazine at the event.
