Africa Inspired Resort 2011 Collection; Tory Burch et Stella McCartney
Africa keeps inspring! as I love to say. This year,the fashion industry has totally embraced the fact that African Fashion is budding, thriving and inspiring, looking at the resort 2011 collection of Tory Burch and Stella McCartney, the truth shouldn’t be far fetched that they have taken some African inspiration on board with their creativity.
Tory Burch’s designs above reflects so much ‘Africaness’ it makes us smile, from the Ankara-esque maxi to the Cowrie-beaded waist belt to the tye and dye scarf and cropped pants and most excitingly the massai-like neck jewelery. See Below :

Just when we thought we had seen it all, Stella McCartney delivered this stunner of a dress that looks almost like it was made out of Lace which is most commonly used in the western part of Africa, mainly Nigeria.

whats wrong with you people sef,the tony burch collection is downright ugly!!!!!!The stella Mcartney very pretty.abeg if they dont know what to do with our prints,please leave it alone joo…..its not by force
